In the late summer of 2022, a new, eco-friendly vehicle began taking passengers around major city landmarks in Budapest’s biggest park on a charming and comfy open-air minibus.

Emblazoned with iconic Budapest photos, driven by experienced drivers, and fully powered by electricity, these cool little coaches are already turning heads while tooling around on the city's most grandiose garden, stopping at several sites near monumental attractions and high-quality restaurants, with the largest “green” bus fleet of the Hungarian capital.

Take the liberty to get off and hop back on at any of the stops using the same ticket which is valid for one full round!

    HEROE’S SQUARE

    It’s the entrance to the City Park as well as one of the most spectacular venues in Budapest. The central feature of Heroes’ Square, as well as a landmark of Budapest, is the Millennium Memorial.

    HOUSE OF MUSIC, HUNGARY

    A unique and complex institution of musical initiation and the venue for the country’s first comprehensive exhibition presenting the history of music, opened in the City Park in January 2022.

    HOUSE OF THE HUNGARIAN MILLENNIUM

    This is the oldest building in the City Park and it is one of its most precious monuments. The name of the house is a direct reference to the era and time when the Hungary celebrated the 1,000 year anniversary of the establishment of the Hungarian state, i.e. 1896.

    VAJDAHUNYAD CASTLE / MUSEUM OF HUNGARIAN AGRICULTURE

    Vajdahunyad Castle is one of the most characteristic and exciting landmarks of the city with countless features to be explored. It’s a beautiful palace and also a matchless representation of the 1000-year- old architectural history of Hungary. The Agricultural Museum presents the greatest collection of agriculture-related objects in Hungary. The Gatehouse and the Apostles’ Tower welcome visitors with amazing views.

    BALLOON FLY

    This centuries-old tradition will be revived during the renovation of the park area known as Mimóza hill, where there is a gas balloon lookout fixed to the ground, which rises into the air on a scheduled basis.

    SZÉCHENYI THERMAL SPA

    The bath had originally been referred to as the Artesian spa, but when it opened on June 16, 1913, it was officially named Széchenyi Spa (Széchenyi gyógyfürdő) after István Széchenyi. The bath was built in Neo-Baroque style to the design and the complex was expanded in 1927 to its current size, with 3 outdoor and 15 indoor pools.

    GUNDEL RESTAURANT & BUDAPEST ZOO

    The restaurant opened in 1866 next to the Budapest Zoo. Splendid pavilion-type covered structures are situated in the large courtyard and garden, which as well as providing pleasant coolness in the summer heat, create open space in the open air.

    The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden is one of the oldest in the world with its almost 150 years of history. Besides Hungarian species the zoo housed several rare species of monkeys, lemurs, parrots, camels, kangaroos and other special animals.
